One of my favourite directors is Kenny Ortega. Acturaaly, i do not know so much directors caz i just foucus on the films on the past :P. After I learn this subject, I starts to focus on the director,characters and the shots of the film~! What a big change!!? lol~
Kenny Ortega is an American producer, director, and choregrapher! I know him from my one of favourite movies "High School Musical".
I think Kenny is a superb director. He not only shot this amazing film but also help to creat the dance for the film. He know what his audiences need and always bring the new fresh feeling to us!
He make a good balance with the music and the plot of "High School Mucial", it doesn't bring to much heavy emotion for the movie but showing the enthusiasm of the characters. And it makes a same feeling to the audiences.
In 2008 Ortega was honored as one of the most powerful and influential Hispanics in entertainment by the Imagen Foundation. [1 ]
Besides, Kenny Ortega also directed the concert film Michael Jackson's This Is It which was put together from rehearsal footage recorded at the Los Angeles Forum and the Staples Center. The film was released on October 28.[2]
He is so cool! XP
