1831_Director Analysis_Peter Jackson


Peter Jackson is a New Zealand film director, who was born in 1961. The Lord of the Rings trilogy is one of the famous film by him, which adapted from the novel by J.R.R Tolkien. King kong is also known for he remade it in 2005.

The Lord of Rings trilogy win eleven Academy Awards, including Best picture and Best director and it was the first of the fantasy film genre to win this awards.

Jackson remade the 1993 classic King Kong in 2005. This film was releases on 14 December 2005, and get around US$550 million in ticket sales in the world.

Compare with some other directors, Jackson is still in his native country to make film. Most of his assets are found on the Miramar Peninsula in his hometown of Wellington of his filming occurs. He was an early use computer technology and digital special effected of Hollywood film.

He won three Academy Awards for The return of king, including the Best Director.
